(Just a reminder)


I'm going to hold 3 consecutive contests based on the next 3 major holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas).





 Rules for each contest: 

1) Original/fan characters only. This means no official characters (like Sonic, Pikachu, Link, ect.). 

2) Has to be holiday themed. If your world doesn't have the actual holiday, then it's okay to incorporate something similar. (Like your world's take on the holiday.) If you do go this route, please give a little explanation of your holiday in the description.

3) Multiple submissions are allowed, however, only one can win. (Meaning you can't take 1st and 3rd, and such.) 

4) Submissions can be in the form of sketches, colored (traditional or digital), written, and/or comics. 

5) Advertise this journal, then give a link of your journal in the comments. (Currently, there is only a first place that will receive 350 . If more people join, I'll add more places.)

6) No mature content. (Blood is allowed.)

7) Must be new content. (Draw something new. Since I know most of you, it won't be hard for me to notice. )






The first contest is Halloween Themed. It can be creepy, funny, or just plain amazing to look at. Leave an impression, make it memorable, and have fun.


This contest starts now and ends at midnight (Central Timezone) on Halloween.

OC Discussion with the Author, No. 1Author Appeals for Ideas from his Characters about a Contest

I had to admit a bit of worry about what I was about to do. Typically, my ideas tend to just flow. Stories take a direction and I assume the role of narrator to the events, not presuming to influence too much of the direction of events.
Now, however, is a bit different. I've created a couple of stories for October contests. The one for which I haven't written, is the one which was originally issued by another creator. I feel a bit remiss in not writing anything for it.
Yet still lacking any ideas, I found myself at a loss. So, I called a meeting of my characters. It was a stretch of my artistic bounds. Like other artists, I've imagined different scenarios and even played them out in my head. Of course, not everything makes the cut. This is the first time I've ever thought of calling a meeting and having their ideas, then putting that to paper.
I gathered Scarlet, Rebecca, Eric, Percy, Captain Johns, Lance, and

Since I also wish to join, there will be a voting system after each contest. Once a contest ends, I will create a separate journal linking to each artist's work. Everyone will vote in the comments for their favorite (excluding their own). I will then tally the votes and announce the winner.




<sub>For those who would like to start working on the other contests early; Thanksgiving Theme is next. Again, it can be humorous, warm hearted, or anything else you want with your characters.
And since I know this time can be difficult to get around to doing art; Christmas Theme is last. 

However, do not post these early. I will make a new journal after each contest.</sub>
