Monster-lizard-horse-thing sketch - 1/21/13

This thing is one of my oldest creature concepts. Still need a name for the species...

The original idea behind it was that it was a mix between a horse, and a big lizard. The first pic looked more like a lizard with a horse's mane. I've since changed the body type to more "horse-like" and changed the head too.

I really like how this one turned out. It has that "animal" look to it. Usually, my animals get eyes like my characters. (Looked like they could think)


This one isn't as thought out like the fwapper. It's a meat eater. Mildly fast. (Due to its long claws) it possesses wrists and fingers. If the claws weren't so long, they could use their hands. They are capable of being tamed, but they are wild and can be unpredictable. They are smart hunters, and prefer to go after small game.

I think I'll call it a Stallizar...
