Luca - abilities bio

It's been a long time since I've REALLY worked on a colored pic. I was getting sorta angsious about all the bigger pics that I have been working on and not finishing. So I did a quick sketch of half of Luca's face and colored it. (It was simple, so I could do it quickly)


*Quick disclaimer*
Luca was made by a god to be able to fight gods and withstand their power. With this in mind, if I were to de-power him, it would completely ruin my story. He is not a Mary-sue as long as he is within my story's world. Thanks for reading.



Alright, time for that LONG bio:

I will first start with physical abilities. Kotians have a unique gland that produces a "living" metal fluid. It is located at the ends of their arms and legs, causing their fingers and toes to be virtually indestructible. Also, some of this metal can also fuse to their skin. Each Kotian is unique as to how much of it covers them. (The skin remains soft, but is completely immune to laceration)

Luca has this metal, but it also covers his bones. This allows him to take extreme physical damage without getting completely crushed. He also possesses rapid regeneration. This helps when he is fighting the gods, or wars.

Luca possesses super strength. His limit is still undetermined, as he seems to get stronger the more he is forced to exert himself. (Though he can succumb to exhaustion)

As a Kotian, he has excellent hearing, sight, and sense of smell. (Most comparable to a cat) Although, their sense of sound direction is more similar to humans, because they can not move their ears.

Luca's eyes glow because they reflect the abundant life energy that flows through out his body. It is also a symbol of him being made by the gods. (Both Ixx and Zango have emerald green eyes)

Ixx also blessed Luca with super intelligence. His thoughts run almost 10x faster than the average person, and works very much like a super computer. He also possess a strange quality of having the capacity of 4 separate compartments of thoughts that he can use fully at the same time. (Ex. It's like having four monitors running at the same time doing completely different tasks)

Luca has a PERFECT, photographic memory. If he meets a person, he automatically scans them and stores that person's image into his memory. Once he learns that person's name he tags the name to the image, and once he hears their voice it is also stored away into that new person's "file." Finaly, he learns more about the person as he spends time to get to know him/her. The guy could literally play back his memories and, in essence, "watch" them in complete detail.

Because his mind works so much like a computer, it is possible to, with advanced technology, hook him up to a computer and search through his "files"/ memories. It is even possible to copy information from him, but it is rather impossible to erase anything. (In a system panic, his automatic nervous system causes him to unleash a wave of energy, and then shuts himself down as an attempt to protect himself)



On to his energy powers. Luca was made half flesh, half spirit. His soul is contained within a glass-like orb which is housed in the center of his brain. It controls the homeostasis of the energy that is being created and flowing in his body. The energy is kept in a concentrated state. When he uses it, he is, in fact, releasing it. If the orb were to be removed from where it sits, not only would Luca die, but all the focused energy in his body would be unleashed. At full capacity, it would be enough to destroy most of a planet. (Which would throw off its gravitational pull, resulting in complete destruction)

Luca can use the energy in various ways. Most common is just creating and launching a ball. He can also use it for telekinetics. (Moving objects with his mind, mind reading, and teleportation) Finally, he can generate a shield around himself and also expand it to others. (Using the shield is extremely exhausting mentally and physically. It can only be used temporarily. He can also lose a lot of energy depending on what he is blocking. If its massive enough, the block could render him unconscious) He also has the power to heal.

EDIT:
When Luca heals, he is using his own life energy. (Luca has an abundance of life energy. So he can do it safely until he reaches the amount necessary for himself) Depending on how far gone someone is, affects how much energy is spent. Luca can not bring people back to life. (Souls are the dominion of the gods) Luca can only do one person at a time, and as long as they are still alive, he can attempt to heal them. Luca can, however, absorb life energy from living things to replenish his own. (This includes plants, animals, and people, but not machines. It must have life)

EDIT:
On Kotia, Luca has a sixth sense for immediate danger, unnatural deaths, and when the gods begin to fight. Immediate danger is for himself. If an arrow or laser is fired at him, he senses it a second before it would strike him. (This ability is accessible on both Kotia and the other dimension) As the great mediator of Kotia, Luca is able to sense when someone is killed. This sense is to warn him of a battle/war. When someone dies, Luca feels a deep stabbing pain in his chest. If he ignores it, the pain will drastically increase with each death. Once Luca is in the area of the fighting, the pain will cease. This sense can, however, become more sensitive to those that Luca knows personally. In this way, Luca can then sense imminent danger, before death. Luca was designed to stop the gods from fighting and keep Kotia safe. So, Luca has a type of "angry gods" detector that helps him know when and where they are fighting. (This sense works rather exactly like the unnatural death sense, and vise versa)

On Kotia, Luca can reach the pinical of his godlike power by entering into his transcendent state. More info on separate pic ---> fav.me/d5dm6fq
