(Yeah, I know this is very late...In fact, I've over 10 pics sitting in the submit page, waiting for a description) Not gonna lie, I was very lazy with submitting at the end of last year. So, I'm gonna submit a bunch of stuff soon. (Although, it still won't be all of it...) Just proving that I wasn't completely inactive in the drawing department...
You've all seen this one in the "draw this again" meme, but I never got to posting it. Well here it is! I do believe I need to work on Luca's body proportions more. His upper body is suppose to be rather short with long legs, but this is ridiculous...he's all legs. It's an on going struggle.
Obviously, this is a picture of Luca's first child. (That would be Todd) Luca, at this time, was a total noob about everything! In fact, he had trouble figuring out just where this baby came from. (Luca: "What!? What we did on our wedding night is causing you to swell? What!? That swelling is a BABY inside your belly? What!? You're in terrible pain and I can't do anything to help? What!? This baby just came out from inside you? What!? Y-you can feed the baby with your..." Yep, Luca had to learn a lot through experience...Poor, patient Tasha.)
Actually, once it was made clear to the poor man that his wife wasn't dying from labor, Luca thoroughly enjoyed holding Todd. (Probably because he never saw a baby Kotian before. Goodness Luca, you were so isolated in those woods...) Todd was kind of an easy baby. He mostly slept during the day and never strayed far from his parents. He did, however, have great difficulty, for a long time with sleeping on his own. He also never got used to others watching over him, and would cry when he was left without his parents. As he got older, he traded crying for shying away from strangers.
Yep. This is making me want to do more "Honey, I'm Pregnant!" comics.

Another real-looking sketch. I'm really enjoying this - and I have to add to the crowd of folks saying "poor Luca"
When my daughter was born, I remember wondering just what I was going to do. I still do, from time to time.
Desire to draw more "Honey, I'm pregnant!" comics? Ha! I'd love to see them. (Oh, if you ever wanted to do one w/ Eric and Rebecca, feel free ... just have to catch up though ...
)
But this picture? It stands out for me. I'm trying to figure out if Luca is smiling happily (very much, since he's holding his son), mouth open in a panic, "what do I do with this?" or both! Either way, it's very expressive, which is something you're good to draw. It paints quite the picture.
