Blingo sketch - 5/4/14

Last night I went through some of my old art books and saw three characters that I hadn't drawn in years. Blingo's last picture was done in 5/16/10. So, I haven't drawn him in nearly 4 years!

Blingo's name was a play on the Spanish word "Blanca" (masculine version "Blanco") meaning "white." He's a white cat with few details, and hardly ever speaks. Blingo has an amazing copying ability. Either by seeing or touching, Blingo can transform into a minimally detailed, white, catlike  version of anyone else. He is also able to mimic abilities of those individuals. 
Blingo is an avid rare stones collector. He especially looks for magical or elemental stone which he can use to power up for a time.  Besides stone collecting, Blingo doesn't really have a drive for anything. He's quiet and keeps to himself.


I'm not sure where Blingo fits in the Luca Story universe anymore. He was an early character, so our world was less established. Blingo was intended to be a kind of boss fight for Luca, since he could copy Luca's skills and abilities, it would be like Luca was fighting himself. (He has a form that looks like a mix between him and Luca when they fight) I really love the character and what he can do. I may try to figure out a way to bring him back into Luca Stories.
