Yeah, I did draw him before the "My Other Self and I" sketch, but I wanted to finish the progress photos first.
Alt. Luca is suffering from muscle spasms and a migraine, due to the stress of the mind control device and not taking good care of himself. (I should have made his body skinnier...) Other than his in-accurate physique, I am quite proud of his anatomy. He looks so much better than his last sketch! Also, if you guys haven't noticed, Luca seems to be getting hairier. XD Not sure if the cheek fur will remain, but it fit in this picture. I love his face too. I've slowly been trying to add more details to my drawings. And look! I foreshortened his right arm!
I really need to make a colored picture of normal Luca. Oh! And I stink'n LOVE his "hair."

As his name suggests, this is not the Luca you all know and love. Alt. Luca exists, thanks to a scientist who illegally built a time machine and kidnaped Luca when he was an infant. Thus, screwing up Luca's timeline.
Throughout his childhood, Alt. Luca was subjected to harsh and progressively inhuman experiments. He was also put through private, advanced schooling. Ms. Hanna Affable was hired to tutor him. She generally taught several of her students at once within the building facility Alt. Luca resided in. Alt. Luca refused to socialize with the other children, however, he became very close to Ms. Affable. She was very kind to him and tried her best to ease his growing anxiety issues. As Alt. Luca got older, the experiments increased, causing him to show up exhausted to her class. She became worried when he started showing up with scars, but they always healed mid-class. When she inquired about them, the scientists pulled Alt. Luca from her class. Without any escape from his tormentors, Alt. Luca attempted to commit suicide. He, and his tormentors, discovered that he was virtually indestructible. Suddenly, Alt. Luca was subjected to invasive experiments and dissections, including lobotomies. While in his late teens, the scientists put him on the task of creating the first mind control device. Alt. Luca saw his chance to escape his tormentors and began to work secretly on his own device at the same time. When he completed it, he used it on all the scientists. His moment of freedom wasn't long, when he realized that they would be missed. Not wanting to return to the living Hell of his life, Alt. Luca went to work on building more mind control devices. He also built a prototype control center to help take some of the mental strain of controlling multitudes of minds off of himself. Once it started, pandemonium and resistance followed. With the more people Alt. Luca enslaved the more attention and resistance he received. Eventually, it became a worldwide affaire. Within a few months, Alt. Luca had control of the entire planet.
Alt. Luca suffers from lingering guilt from enslaving everyone, but he is too afraid to let anyone go. (He only wanted to escape from the scientists.) Instead, he is using his control to better society by: improving and maintaining industries, paying off all depts. up to the national level, cleaning and finding ways to prevent pollution, and even improving on the little things in the lives of all his mind controlled subjects in the hopes that they would be released one day.
Because of his fears and anxieties from his abusive past coupled with the surmounting mental and physical stress from controlling the populous nearly 24/7, Alt. Luca suffers from intense neurosis (at times, turning into psychosis), paranoia, and fits of frenzy. He has constant muscle spasms and random mental breakdowns. At night, he takes off his headset and sets it to recharge on his nightstand. The back up control system takes over while he sleeps. Alt. Luca hates the concept of going to bed to the point of fearing it. He never sleeps well, tossing and turning and moaning in his sleep. In the morning, he wakes up drenched in sweat. It gives him great anxiety to not be wearing the mind control device, as it makes him feel vulnerable. In an attempt to have some kind of company, Alt. Luca keeps "Phil" as his butler. "Phil" is not his real name, but that's what Alt. Luca calls him. He was actually a kind janitor at the science facility that Alt. Luca droned with one of his prototype headsets. Alt. Luca talks to "Phil" regularly, knowing that he doesn't hear anything, but it makes him feel better.
Not everyone is under Alt. Luca's control. There are still small pockets of people that hide from him and survive. Recently a small group is trying to find a way to combat Alt. Luca and free everyone. But before they take any action, they need to learn more about their mysterious enemy. So, they send one person to find his home and take time to learn all they can about him, the system, and his plans. The person who volunteered and was chosen for this reconnaissance was Ms. Hanna Affable.
