Hey guys!
I'm not dead, just working really hard at school.

Due to all my business, I haven't had the time to draw much personal art (or stuff I owe...). And since I've gotten better and more confident in my skills, I've been itching to test it out on my characters. I've managed to do a few here and there, and recently had to look in my gallery to reference a few characters...

and, OH MY GOODNESS!!!

Practically all my art here is horrible! I mean, I cring every time I see it (like, what is anatomy?). XD

Don't worry, I'm not gonna break my promise and send stuff into storage. However, that means, come summer, I gotta pump out new art that represents my current ability. I've managed to do a few characters, and I have to say, they never looked better!

Anyway, my summer break starts after June 24.

Also, I miss my friends on here and feel bad for totally neglecting you guys. Steve-C2 , FayeleneFyre , and WalletMonster , I miss you all and hope to be in better touch when I get active again. DragonTygress is the only one I've kept up with on a daily basis, through text messaging (and suffering my Yu-Gi-Oh! nerd dumping. XD).

I'm sure you all have noticed that I've become very quite for several months. I'm sorry for anyone feeling like I am ignoring you, but I assure you that is not the case. I'm just in collage now learning to be better at doing what I love. I am a bit of an introvert, though. So, being in school all day every day has caused me to want to use my 2-3 hours each night to withdraw more when I'm at home and recharge from being social. 

I do hope to post my works from Photoshop class soon (or whenever I get around to it...).

I finished my second pencil art and am waiting for the head teacher to scan it for me so I can post it here. The teacher said I did well enough to start painting a little early!

Question:

What color are Lucas's eyes?
(Lucas, the partial clone of Luca.)

Answer:

Pale Grey
(no color)

Luca's Eye DNA:

In order to understand Lucas's eye color, we have to take a look at the DNA that he was partially cloned from, Luca. We all know that Luca's eyes are a glowing emerald green. The glow is from the life energy that flows through his body. So, it could be assumed that Lucas's eyes would just be dark green with the illumination shining through them. Why is that not the case? Because Luca's eyes are really translucent, getting the green color from his energy as well. Whenever Luca is dangerously close to running out of energy, his eyes not only dim,  but also loose their color. And when he has been poisoned by a dark crystal long enough, his eyes slowly turn black. 

Having most of Luca's DNA, Lucas inherited Luca's eye color, or lack thereof, giving him pale grey, almost translucent, eyes. He does not possess energy abilities, like Luca, so he does not have the emerald glow.

Tawny's eyes are pink, due to her not inheriting any color from her father, but gaining most of her eye structure from her mother. While her eyes seem like that of an albino, she does not poses the same visual impairments of one. Luca's eyes simply do not have pigment in the irises, but the rest of what makes up his eyes are normal.

The Nightmare in the Kitchen

Both Tasha and Todd are amazing cooks. Todd has the most passion for it, and ends up working to become the greatest chief he can be. Luca can learn to do anything that he sets his mind on, however, he lets Tasha do most of the cooking, because she enjoys it. Jestloo can't make anything new or experiment, but with guidance by someone else, he can memorize recipes and follow them to the "T." 

Tawny has a black thumb, when it comes to cooking. Her family can't even figure out why she's so bad. Even if she miraculously manages to not set anything on fire, everything she makes is inedible. (Except for Flitz, but Flitz has a stomach of steel.) Even after many attempts to teach her, by her mother and brother, she still can't get it halfway decent. She even screws up easy to follow recipes. Her cooking skills are a mystery, and for that, she is no longer allowed to prepare food in the kitchen. (At least Lucas isn't a bad cook. )

Answer:

Gained it from a childhood friend, when her family filed papers to adopt him.



Luca and Rachel's Relationship

When Luca was created by Ixx, he was only given his first name along with the title, Motaukeh. After his fall, the gods punished him by sending him to another dimension where he had to gather pieces of his powers, housed in small orbs. The catch? He was turned into a child and had his memory seal away as well.

The people that were appointed to be his guardians were killed when he was five. It was the begining of winter and Luca hadn't learned how to survive in the harsh weather yet. He ended up collapsing at the door of the Lenovies. Rachel was nine years old at the time.  They took him in and nursed him back to health. Through Rachel and local rumors, they had heard how Luca became an orphan. After having him for a few months, Mr. and Mrs. Lenovie decided that they wanted to raise him as their own. However, while the paper work was getting made, something happened that caused Luca to run away. 

Years later, Luca surprised (a now 24 year old) Rachel by, literally, dropping in on her. He took some coaxing, but she eventually get him to stay with her and she helped introduce him to society. It was during that time that she contacted her parents, and they finished his adoption papers, making Luca a Lenovie.

(Rachel is a human. Her and Luca get along very well. Their relationship changes around from siblings, to motherly, and finally to sibling/friend.)
